Community Board 6 houses various arts and cultural organizations within its borders. Many of the cultural organizations and institutions hold community and public events. Japan Society

Japan Society is a nonprofit cultural organization that brings awareness to Japanese culture. Japan Society houses an indoor bamboo water garden, Toyota language center and art gallery. Admission is free for children under 16 and to all on Friday nights, 6–9 PM.
